What the dashboard shows

The Dashboard has four cards (Today's sales, Today's profit, Stock value, Low stock items), a list of recent sales, a list of low-stock items, a banner when batches are expiring or expired, and a Record a sale shortcut.

The Dashboard is the first page after sign-in and the one to glance at during the day.

The four cards

  • Today's sales: total of sales recorded today, in your reporting currency.
  • Today's profit: revenue minus cost of goods sold for today's sales. See How profit is calculated.
  • Stock value: quantity × average cost across every item.
  • Low stock items: how many items are at or below their minimum.

Recent sales

The latest invoices with date, total and who recorded them. Click one to open its receipt. See How to view and print a receipt.

Low stock

The items at or below minimum, with quantity and minimum side by side. When everything is fine it says so.

Expiry banner

If any expiry-tracked batch is expired or expiring within 30 days, a banner appears. Expired stock is still counted in inventory until you write it off, and the banner says so. See How to write off expired stock.

Record a sale

A shortcut pinned at the top right opens the sales form without leaving the Dashboard. See How to record a sale.

Everything is per workspace

All figures are for your workspace only, in its currency. See Is my data safe?.
