# How to change the workspace currency

> An Admin opens Settings → Workspace and picks the reporting currency from the list. Every price, cost and report in the workspace is then shown in that currency. Amounts are not converted; only the symbol and formatting change.

Each workspace has exactly one reporting currency, chosen when the workspace is created and changeable at any time.

## Steps

1. Open **Settings** and switch to the **Workspace** tab.
2. Choose the **Reporting currency**.
3. Save. The new symbol appears throughout the workspace immediately.

Only Admins can change it.

## Available currencies

USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), BDT (৳), INR (₹), PKR (₨), AED, SAR, AUD (A$), CAD (C$), JPY (¥), NPR.

## What it does not do

It does not convert existing numbers. A cost recorded as 50 stays 50 and is simply labelled with the new symbol. Set the currency once, at the start.
